"Modern Visions for Technology" (MV4T) is the DBA ("doing business as") and branding under which Intersoft Development, Inc. markets modern hardware and software products and solutions. Intersoft Development, Inc. is a technology solutions and consulting corporation headquartered in Cleveland, OH that has been in business since 1995 serving Fortune-100 and smaller firms throughout the USA.

Modern Visions for Technology was a natural extension of our existing successful software development and technology consulting business that allows the family of Intersoft Development, Inc. companies to deliver complete technology solutions to its clients.

Our hardware focus is centered almost exclusively on leading-edge power-efficient solutions that include low-power CPUs / processors, high-efficiency servers and workstations, highly efficient power-supplies, extremely low-wattage and low-heat small-form-factor (2.5-inch) disk drives and SSD (Solid State Drives - like the Intel X-25M and X-18E series) storage, power-optimized graphics cards, and virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, Workstation, and the like). High efficiency and high performance combine in our optimized custom solutions.

Our software offerings leverage the abilities of the efficient and powerful processing delivered by our servers, workstations, graphics cards, and storage solutions. We are the United States VariCAD reseller, and as the USA VariCAD reseller we can deliver both hardware and software optimized for your 2D / 3D CAD needs. We also implement "bare iron" virtualization through VMware ESXi, and promote and encourage Virtual Machine usage adoption via VMware Workstation and the like. In addition, we offer custom software development and consulting services through Intersoft Development, Inc., especially SQL-Server Database design and optimization. Again, our ability to deliver highly-optimized multi-processor servers and computers equipped with high-speed SAS/SATA/SSD/RAID storage, allows us to tailor hardware to meet the demanding needs of SQL-Server and software development.

Mike obtained his BS in Computer Science and Mathematics in 1988, while working as a Software Developer with Hewlett Packard (HP). Following graduation, Mike served in Systems Analyst and IT Director roles, before quickly moving on to software development consulting. His work with large clients (British Petroleum and Invacare), through the national consulting firm AIC, established his reputation as a highly productive software developer and consultant with expertise in accounting, inventory, and pricing systems.

In 1995, Mike founded Intersoft Development, Inc., a software development firm dedicated to creating modern, robust systems for clients using Object Oriented Development techniques and relational database software. Mike established himself as an expert in large-scale Microsoft SQL Server databases, data-modeling, software design, rapid application development (using Borland Delphi), and business process improvement and automation initiatives.

By 1998, Intersoft Development had evolved considerably as Mike applied his IT expertise to recruiting and hiring additional qualified talent to meet increased client demand. Intersoft considerably extended its reach, staffing projects requiring a diverse range of technology skills including software development, network support, project management, and database administration. The firm’s reputation for quality and integrity quickly secured clients including: University Hospitals, American Greetings, PlanSoft, The Cleveland Clinic, BP, Clark Oil, Forest City Enterprises, Christian & Timbers, Henkel Group, Reliant Insurance, Comsys, NASA, and many others.

Laura has worked in the Petrochemical industry for nearly 20 years, much of this time as a business consultant specializing in product taxation issues. She graduated with honors from College in 1999, where she earned her Business Administration degree and furthered her finance and accounting skills

Laura has substantial oil industry experience in many areas of business operations including Trading and Transportation, Planning and Control, Commercial Marketing and Operations, Customer Service and Account Management, Sales Analysis, and Product Taxation / Governmental Regulations. She is an established expert in air-transportation fuel taxation matters.

Laura has worked through multiple large scale information systems deployment projects, and has been a team leader on such projects at British Petroleum. She is also an experienced SAP user and quite skilled in Excel and Powerpoint.

Joe earned his BA at Baldwin Wallace College, and MA and JD at The Ohio State University. Joe has worked the last 9 years in the technology field with a focus on telecommunications and wireless Internet.

In 1998, Joe began his career with Teligent, LLC., a telecommunications provider of high speed wireless voice and data technology. Shortly thereafter, Joe moved on to Metricom, Inc., a provider of high speed wireless Internet service, where he was directly responsible for a deployment project budgeted at $35+ million. His next stop was another project management role with T-Mobile, handling contracts and government relations for the deployment of T-Mobile’s cellular network with a budget of $30+ million.

Following a successful launch at T-Mobile, Joe has handled various project management and contract functions in the telecommunications industry for various national clients including Sprint, Nextel, Verizon Wireless, and T-Mobile. His earned perspective garnered from working as both client and vendor over the last 8 years gives him added advantage in providing solutions to client problems and efficiently and effectively completing projects with a value added focus
